We stayed here for one night during a tour of central India. Everything was good apart from two unfortunate incidents. The first was when we went to the bar for a quick drink and snack meal. We ordered three drinks, a G&T, a glass of red wine and a small bottle of beer. We also had chicken burgers (unpleasant) and fries. After paying in Indian rupees we were shocked to see the conversion was over GB£82. Then the fun began. We returned to our room (furthest possible from the lift, to find that our electronic key card wouldn’t work. We returned to reception to be given a second card, which still didn’t work, then another… Then we had a crowd of management and security at our door attempting to open it - they had it wired to a laptop!! Finally they decided to drill out the lock to get us in to retrieve our belongings. Fortunately, after what must have been an hour after our problems started the door was open. We transferred our belongings to a new room, and from then on all went smoothly, with a modicum of apologies, and we were able to get up for an early flight the next morning. Not the best of experiences.
